Design, moulding and process control under one roof

Kruger takes parts from drawing to dispatch with one accountable team: product and mould engineering, managed tool manufacture, servo-driven injection moulding under SCADA process monitoring, value-added operations, and ISO 9001:2015 quality control. Customers send a drawing; an engineer replies with DFM feedback within 48 hours.

Product and mould engineering

Every project starts in engineering, not on the shop floor. Our team runs product design and mould-flow (CAE) analysis before any steel is cut — catching sink, warp, weld-line and gating problems on screen instead of in production. Tooling is manufactured by proven partner toolrooms under Kruger’s design authority and supervision, and validated on our machines. Prototypes can be 3D printed for fit checks before tooling begins.

Injection moulding machines

Nine injection moulding machines: eight horizontal machines from 60 to 1300 tonnes clamp force and a vertical machine for insert moulding — each retrofitted with servo drives and monitored through digital SCADA controllers and HMIs for lower energy use and tighter shot-to-shot repeatability. The vertical machine runs insert-moulded cable connectors and similar overmoulded parts. Part weights from 10 g to 5.2 kg.

Materials we run

Polypropylene and PPCP · 20% glass-filled polypropylene · polycarbonate · nylon 6/66 — unfilled, 15% and 30% glass-filled · ABS · HDPE · PET. Engineering compounds are dried, processed and documented to grade; material certificates are available with shipments on request.

Value-added operations

Insert moulding on vertical machines · ultrasonic welding · pad and screen printing · sub-assembly and kitted, retail-ready packing. Recent export work ships as finished, printed, assembled and individually packed units — not loose mouldings.

Quality — ISO 9001:2015

Kruger Industries is ISO 9001:2015 certified. Incoming material, in-process and final inspection are documented per part; process parameters are monitored at the machine through SCADA/HMI. Batch traceability, certificates of conformance and inspection reports are provided where customers require them.

Certificate available on request.
