Supplier onboarding and export terms
Five answers a sourcing engineer needs before the first email, then the form for the drawing.

Material certificates for the grades we run, certificates of conformance, inspection reports and the NDA come with the offer; ask with your enquiry.
1. What we mould: machines, materials, size
Kruger Industries is a thermoplastic injection moulder in Peenya, Bengaluru, established 2004, part of the Microtex Group, Indian industrial manufacturing since 1969. Nine injection moulding machines: eight horizontal, 60, 180, 200, 480, 650, 720, 850 and 1300 tonnes, plus one vertical insert-moulding machine, all with servo drives and SCADA/HMI process monitoring. Parts from 10 g to 5.2 kg.
Materials: polypropylene and PP copolymer, 20% glass-filled polypropylene, polycarbonate, nylon 6 and 66 unfilled and 15% or 30% glass-filled, ABS, HDPE and PET. Design and CAE mould-flow are in-house; tooling is managed through partner toolrooms under Kruger’s design authority. Insert moulding, ultrasonic welding, pad and screen printing and sub-assembly are in-house; export units leave printed, assembled and individually packed. Thermoplastics only, nothing above 5.2 kg or 1300 tonnes.
2. Documents we can send today
The system certificate we hold and publish is ISO 9001:2015, NVT 147210 from NVT Quality Certification International LLP, scope design, manufacture, supply and sales of plastic injection moulded components, valid to 14 March 2027.
On request with the offer: REACH Article 33 and RoHS declarations for the grades we run, from the resin maker’s data, a conflict-minerals statement, and signed acceptance of your supplier code of conduct. Inspection is documented per part, process parameters are monitored through SCADA and HMI, and batch traceability is kept. Audit checklist: how to qualify an injection moulding supplier in India.
3. Terms, Incoterms and lead times
We quote FCA Chennai or FCA Nhava Sheva by default, DAP where costed, never DDP into the United States or the United Kingdom. You act as importer of record. First export orders run on letter of credit or advance payment; open account follows once an ECGC buyer limit is in place. New accounts are invoiced at 45 days or less.
Every new tool is funded by you or transferred in, and stays your property; customer-owned moulds at Kruger are held under written bailment terms. Tool, sample and production lead times are stated in each quotation rather than on this page, because they depend on the part and the toolroom’s load.
Most moulded parts are HS 3926.90; parts of batteries, filters, fans, luminaires and electrical apparatus usually take the product’s parts heading, so confirm the line with your broker. Each quotation names the Incoterm and HS code; a certificate of origin travels with each shipment.
4. Export markets, as of 20 October 2026
United Kingdom. As of 20 October 2026, India-origin plastic articles under UK commodity code 3926 90 97 90 enter the United Kingdom at 0% under the UK-India CETA in force since 15 July 2026, against 6% on China-origin parts. Verify the line with your broker before you rely on it.
Gulf. The India-UAE CEPA has been in force since 1 May 2022 and the India-Oman CEPA since 1 June 2026; a CEPA certificate of origin travels with each shipment. Verify the line for your product with your broker.
United States. Our first United States order is in production. There are no United States country sanctions on India; Kruger cooperates with a buyer’s screening of Kruger and its partners against the SDN list. Sample parcels into the United States are dutiable entries: the US$800 de minimis exemption ended on 29 August 2025.
European Union. The EU-India free trade agreement was concluded on 27 January 2026 and proposed to the Council on 11 September 2026; it is not yet signed, and India-origin plastic articles pay the 6.5% MFN rate today because the plastics GSP is suspended from 2026 to 2028. Verify with your broker.
Australia and New Zealand. Indian goods enter Australia duty-free on every tariff line from 1 January 2026 under ECTA, and the New Zealand-India FTA entered into force on 20 October 2026; both need a certificate of origin with the shipment. Verify with your broker.
South-East Asia. Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines: FCA Chennai in US dollars on the terms above; the preferential line, if any, is for your broker.
East Africa. Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda: FCA Nhava Sheva or FCA Chennai in US dollars on the terms above; East African Community duty and import VAT are for your clearing agent.
5. Who buys from us, by sector
We name no customer without written permission, so here is the work by sector. Insert-moulded connector caps for a global connector manufacturer. Glass-filled nylon fan blades for a refrigeration manufacturer. Polycarbonate window louvers and nylon door guides for railway coaches, through coach integrators. Over 35,000 horticulture pots and trays moulded and shipped to Kuwait for Palms Agro Production Co., Kuwait. And every container and cover for our sister company Microtex Energy, 2V cell containers in BS and DIN sizes and 12V monobloc containers, on moulds that also serve other battery makers; where a size is already tooled, samples come from the existing mould, and where it needs a new mould, we build it against your committed volume.
Proof
20 per cent glass-filled polypropylene air-filter housings, supplied continuously since 2010 to a global filtration OEM and shipped to six of its plants. The name appears here once written permission is received.
6. How fast an engineer replies
Madhusudhan, our Head of Production, replies with DFM feedback within 48 hours on working days. kruger@microtex.com is read twice daily; WhatsApp and the phone on +91 96864 48899 reach the same people.
Send the drawing. Madhusudhan, our Head of Production, replies with DFM feedback within 48 hours on working days.
Attach a STEP or PDF, say the annual quantity, the material if you know it, your country and your Incoterm preference. Madhu replies, not a bot. Your mould stays yours; NDA on request.
In ‘What do you need?’ choose New moulded part, Tool transfer or Repeat production part, whichever fits. Files travel by email only and are not stored on this website; your enquiry details are kept in our enquiry log so that we can follow up.
